Global Quality and Accreditation Manager Feed (BSc/MSc)

Want to add depth to your experience as a QA professional? In this position you will play an important role within GMP+ International where it concerns accreditation and ISO topics in an international context. Both these topics are vital for GMP+ International. Changes have an impact on companies, certification bodies and the scheme itself. And since this environment is very versatile, GMP+ International needs to be on top of it and take the lead in discussions. Important is to translate these developments to GMP+ International practice and take the lead with colleagues to prepare, decide on the direction and implement the changes. This position offers the opportunity to further develop the scheme in such a way that it is in line with future practice.

Since GMP+ International deploys a quality scheme, they want to have their quality up to date. A quality management system which satisfies the applicable ISO standards and norms is needed. To be up to date in this respect, contact with accreditation bodies, certification bodies, other schemes and participation in several committees are an important part of the job. 

More specific, your tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Managing the contacts with the Accreditation bodies (RvA, Dakks) and the impact on the GMP+ FC schemes
  • Networking with the other feed schemes and attending relevant meetings
  • Maintenance of the GMP+ FSA and GMP+ FRA scheme
  • Responsible for the implementation of ISO 17021 and manages the impact on the GMP+ International organization and the scheme
  • Organization and / or participation in meetings regarding ISO (NEN working group, International working groups)
  • Participate in GMP+ International projects
  • Responsible for the maintenance and distribution of the quality handbook, procedures and work instructions and forms
  • Monitoring whether operational processes satisfy the quality standard, takes appropriate corrective action together with the team managers and informs the directors

Job requirements

The ideal candidate has good interpersonal skills and likes to operate in a team of experts who are passionate about working towards quality improvement. Both within and outside GMP+, you will be seen as an expert. This requires not only knowledge and conceptual insights, but also network competencies (international).

The Global Quality and Accrediation Manager Feed recognises him or herself in the following profile:
  • A Bachelor's or Master Degree with a specialisation in Quality Management and/or Agriculture (feed and/or food)
  • Education or training in quality management and auditing 
  • Experience in QA, for example as a QA Manager or QA Officer, in food or feed industry
  • Knowledge of schemes like ISO 17021/ ISO 22003, HACCP and accreditation
  • Knowledge of process design and change
  • Good knowledge of the GMP+ International products and processes
  • Good verbal and written skills in English and Dutch, and preferable any other European language
  • Communicative, accurate, convincing, teamplayer
  • Willingness to travel internationally (just a couple of times a year)
